I spent all long weekend watching the International Federation of Sports Climbing in men’s and women’s bouldering semi-finals and finals. That’s almost 10 hours of watching sports and profusely sweating. Japan did a great job. I am evolving into a new person.

• The perfume industry is really capitalizing the moment. I’m not into them and I don’t subscribe to any perfume first brands, however, COS just launched a collection. I went to the store over the weekend on Bloor St. and as I walked in, I thought I saw a man stealing perfume and then right in front of my eyes, he grabbed what be could and placed it in his bag and walked out. The four perfumes were not very good. I forgot I even subscribed to Boy Smells newsletter (and completely forgot about the brand in general) considering they haven’t pushed a newsletter or perhaps product innovation in years. They’re really pushing their email marketing and I now get one almost daily. It seems the perfumes, the candles and overall rebrand is controversial.

• Two Asian fashion content creators are trying to create the perfect white t-shirt. The story goes, as it always does, there was nothing in the market so they had to create one themselves. Standard influencer to product pipeline.
